B’nai Brith Camp (BB Camp), a Jewish community camp is located on Town Island, on Lake of the Woods in Kenora, Ontario.  It serves children and adults of all ages and various denominations and operates annually from May - August.  Since its first summer of operation in 1919, BB Camp has been a leader of Jewish resident camp in western Canada and has consistently proven to be a great place for youth to learn about themselves, their identity, their environment, and how to relate to others.

BB Camp was originally situated in Sandy Hook, Manitoba and offered short term resident camping programs to hundreds of Manitoba Jewish youth. In 1954, under the leadership and vision of Sylvan Leipsic, BB Camp moved to its present site in Lake of the Woods in Kenora, Ontario (two and half hour drive east of Winnipeg) and began to offer programs that focused on a wilderness outward bound experience.

BB Camp is a home away from home for many generations of children and strives to teach the values and ethics of Jewish living by example, experience, and creative expression. BB Camp is committed to providing the finest summer experience for today’s campers while preparing them to be tomorrow’s community leaders.

BB Camp is affiliated with the Jewish Community Centers Association (JCC Association) and is fully accredited by the Manitoba Camping Association (MCA).
